The date of November 12th may seem quite trivial. However, if you look at it more closely, you can note that November 12th is the anniversary of the french swimming rising star, the 2012 Olympic Champion 50m freestyle, Florent Manaudou (23 years old). Good day for the swimming, as it's on November 12th 1975, the American Jason Lezac (bronze medal in 100m freestyle at the Beijing Olympic Games) was born. This date means also the anniversary of the admission of Tunisia to the United Nation (1956) and the enthronement of Japanese Empror Akihito (1990). If these events mean nothing for you, you can always celebrate the birthdays of the american actresses Kim Hunter and Anne Hathaway, the canadian ice hockey player Mark Hunter, the gold medalist Roumanian gymnast Nadia Comăneci.
But for you, the date of 12th November mean also the opening of the registration for the XTERRA France 2013 ! XTERRA France will take place on 7th July along the lake of Longemer. For people who are used to race it, no need to describe the place in the heart of National park of Vosges Mountains, as you've seen it with a balzing sun or a pouring rain.
In 2012, there were lot of athletes who stayed in the waiting list.... hoping a potential email or phone call to announce them they have a slot. If you don't want to live that (again), register on November 12th !
